Theresia Hughes
Theresia Ann Hughes, 62, of
Clear Lake, formerly of Blanco, Tex-
as, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015,
at Mercy Medical Center, in Mason
City, Iowa.
A graveside inurnment was held
on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at St. Ja-
cobs Cemetery in Graettinger, Iowa,
with Fr. Merlin Schrad officiating.

Theresia was born July 2, 1953,
the daughter of William and Berna-
dette (Nolan) Hughes, in Estherville,

William (Bill) Leonard Sharp,
79, of 20 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, died
Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at the Muse-
Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Ma-
son City, Iowa.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be
held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, Nov.
13, 2015, at the Clear Lake V.F.W.
with military honors provided by the
Clear Lake V.F.W. at 4 p.m. Accord-
ing to his wishes he was cremated.
Memorials may be given to the Clear
Lake V.F.W. Building Fund or Hos-
pice of North Iowa.
Bill was born May 18, 1936, in
Peru, Ill., the son of Edward and
Marie (Frederich) Sharp. Follow-
ing school, he enlisted in the United
States Army, where he served for five
and one-half years, three in Germany.
After returning, he married Mary
Bezely in 1960. He worked at area
GM dealerships, spending 15 years at
Schukei Chevrolet as a mechanic. He
later worked at Metal Fabricators in
Clear Lake.

Jerry Lee Hanley, 67, of Elgin,
Iowa, formerly of Clear Lake, died
Sunday, Nov. 9, 2015, at his home.
A memorial service will be held
at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015,
at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel,
Clear Lake. A private inurnment will
be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior
to the service at the funeral home.
