2011 CL boys golf team recognized

Pair of city employees announce retirement

    A pair of longtime City employees have given notice that they intend to take advantage of the city’s early retirement incentive program and will leave their posts at the end of the fiscal year in June 2012.  Together, they represent 61 years of experience on the job.

Overwhelming support shown for Bowling for Blake Bowl-A-Thon

     Approximately 700 adults and students turned out during the holiday break for the Bowling for Blake Bowl-A-Thon, held in memory of former Clear Lake High School teacher, Blake Lobdell.  The event was held at the Rose Bowl in Mason City on Dec. 26-28.
