St. Ed’s sweeps CL boys tennis team
Clear Lake got a tune-up for District tennis play last week when they took on St. Edmonds. The Lions will host St. Edmonds and others in Disticts Thursday in Clear Lake.
Against St. Edmonds, the Lions played well in spots, according to Coach Nick Schauf. “This gives us an idea of how things are going to go on the 8th. Also, the JV played really well and I was very proud of the seniors that have showed leadership throughout the season.
St. Ed’s swept varsity matches, 9-0. IN JV play, the Lions won four of six singles matches and one of five doubles matches.
