Frances Mae Meyer



    Frances Mae Meyer, 81, formerly of Ventura, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Hampton Rehabilitation Center, Hampton, Iowa. 
    A funeral service was held on Monday, June 25 at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with Rev. Daird Korth officiating.  Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hwy 122 W., Mason City, Iowa.  Memorials may be given to the Frances Meyer Memorial Fund.


Mike Monson



    Mike Monson, 65, of Altoona, Iowa, passed away at his home on Monday, June 18, 2012. 
    He was born Nov. 23, 1946 in Ventura, Iowa.

Bill Beard



    Bill B. Beard, born in Des Moines, Iowa on June 20, 1928, passed away on Saturday evening, June 23, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.
    Bill was an amazing husband, father, grandpa, and most recently great-grandpa to a family who loved him dearly and will miss him forever.    Bill’s career spanned over 27 years at Sears in Ames, Iowa.  Bill and his wife Nancy retired to Clear Lake in the fall of 1991.      Henry Joseph “Harry” Rozen, 86, of Mason City, Iowa went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa.
    Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Mason City, with Msgr. Joseph J. Slepicka as Celebrant.  Interment was in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, with military honors being provided by members of the Mason City Veterans Association.


Thomas Smith



    Thomas R. Smith, 89, of St. Paul, Minn., passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2012, surrounded by his family.
    A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 21, at 1 p.m. at O’Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home, 575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul, Minn.  Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.
