Hauling continues 24/7 while temporary sewer line is installed at Ventura Grade

 A temporary pipe is expected to be operational today (Wednesday, June 25) spanning Ventura Heights to Ventura in the wake of a sewer line break June 9. North Iowa Septic Service (NISS) workers were busy Monday floating and attaching a baffle curtain to a temporary pipe spanning approximately 1,200 feet to the park area at the Ventura Grade.

 It has been awhile since Clear Lake has had a professional theater group in town. Think back to the days of Chautauqua and Cobblestone Players. Now, thanks to The Lampost Theater, those days are returning.
Lampost Theater, whose home location is Cedar Falls, Iowa, will be bringing its actors and productions to Clear Lake for the summer, under the direction of co-directors and writers of the productions, Jeff and Marsha Hanson.

Celebrations, challenges for CL schools

 Just like its students, the Clear Lake School District got a report card, of sorts, from the State of Iowa. And its worthy of being hung on the refrigerator.
