Lake supporters told ‘the work is not over’

Members of the Association for the Preservation of Clear Lake received outstanding news about the condition of the lake at their annual picnic held Friday.  However, the group was cautioned to remain vigilant in its efforts to continue to protect Clear Lake.

Personnel from the YMCA, of Mason City, will provide after-school programming for Clear Lake students in kindergarten through fifth grade this year at Clear Creek Elementary School.

Well, it’s not a ball diamond created in a corn field, but a new recreation area in Clear Lake is taking off, thanks to the recent construction of a trail meandering through it.
