Whether you’re young or old, from Clear Lake or just vacationing, you’re invited to give sailing a try

If you want to really experience Clear Lake, you have to be on the water, says Amy Wagler.  And the best way to do that is to hop aboard a sailboat.

 

Wagler, director of the Clear Lake Yacht Club’s Sailing School this summer, says numbers are up and the future of sailing on Clear Lake looks very bright.

The Clear Lake Planning and Zoning Board has granted its approval to plans for Pritchard Auto to construct a new dealership building at 3101 Willow Creek Court, near the intersection of Interstate 35 and Highway 122.

   

Council agrees to make improvements at lake public access

The Clear Lake City Council voted unanimously to pave a 12-foot approach to the 14th Avenue South public access in response to complaints from residents in the area and others about its condition.

The city is seeking quotes for the work, which will also include 14-foot wide grass strips on both sides of the pavement.
