It was a week of real highs and real lows for the Vikings.  The week opened with a big road loss, but ended on a positive note as the team moves on in District action.

CL girls end season with three straight wins; ready for playoffs

The Clear Lake girls finished their regular season with three straight wins.  The Lions toppled conference foes Webster City and Humboldt, then wrapped up the week with a non-conference victory over Charles City.
    Clear Lake (13-8 overall) opens Class 3A regional play at home tonight (Wednesday, Feb. 15) against Iowa Falls-Alden.  During the regular season the two North Central Conference teams split a pair of close games.

   

Lady Vikes pick up District win over Northwood-Kensett

The Ventura girls are hitting their stride at the right time of the season - heading into playoffs.  The Lady Vikes topped Harris-Lake Park in their final regular season game and they beat Northwood-Kensett in the opening round of District action.
