The Clear Lake School Board is expected to approve a 3 percent raise in the pay package it shares with Mason City for Superintendent Anita Micich.
Monday night the Mason City School Board agreed to a 3 percent increase for its administrators and Superintendent Micich, who is also superintendent of the Clear
Lake School District. Micich will now earn $184,138. That salary is shared between Mason City and Clear Lake on a 60-40 split; Mason City will pay $110,483, and Clear Lake will pay $73,655. Both districts receive state incentive funding for sharing a superintendent.
The Clear Lake School Board conducted a review of Micich’s performance at its last meeting. The Board will meet again Monday, July 23, and will take action on the superintendent’s contract.
