Even oppressive heat couldn’t prevent the Clear Lake Noon Lions-- or their thousands of faithful (and hungry) supporters, from making the annual Lions

Chicken Barbeque a success Sunday.  The Lions served over 4,000 chicken dinners in City Park.  Chicken halves were put on the grill starting at 4:15 a.m. and lines of customers were formed just a few hours later.  Lions Club members were helped by local Boy Scouts, who volunteered to help in a variety of ways.
