Jerrad Ramon

    Jerrad Tyler Ramon, 16, of Clear Lake, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Clear Lake.
    Funeral services will  be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the Clear Lake United Methodist Church, Clear Lake, with Pastor Will Hunsaker of First Church of the Open Bible officiating.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa beside his

loving grandmother, Rosa Ramon.  Visitation will be  one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church.  Family suggests memorials to Jerrad Ramon memorial fund.
    Jerrad was born June 4, 1995 in Mason City, Iowa the son of Albert Ramon and Staci Scott.    He attended school in Ventura, Clear Lake and was attending the Learning Center School, Mason City.  He was in the class of 2013. 
    He enjoyed playing with his brothers and especially taking on the role as big brother and also spending time with his parents and grandma Janette.  Jerrad enjoyed playing video games with his friends, playing jokes on them and was known for his humor.  He never had a shortage of friends.
    Jerrad is survived by his father, Albert (Stacy) Ramon, Mason City, Iowa; mother, Staci Scott, Clear Lake;  four brothers,  A.J. Ramon, Trey Ramon and Alex Ramon all of Mason City, Matthew Ramon-Kedney, California; maternal grandmother, Janette (Jerry) Arnold, Clear Lake; maternal grandfather, Robert (Kris) Scott, Little Rock, Ark.; paternal grandfather, Kelly Ramon, Garland, Texas;  step paternal grandmother, Melissa Munson, Mason City; great maternal grandparents, Joann Johnson, Evansdale, Iowa, Gale Johnson, Cedar Falls, Iowa and Art (Ruth) Scott, Janesville, Iowa and too many special aunts, uncles and cousins to list. 
    He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosa Ramon; great aunt, Laura Ward and his special cat, Casper, who died recently.
    Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
