Holes for Hope benefits autism

Vratsinas Holes For Hope Foundation (VHFH) announced that $66,040 was raised from the 2011 Holes for Hope Golf Classic Benefiting Autism which took place on Monday, June 27, at Des Moines Golf and Country Club.  Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds, Marv Cook, former Iowa Hawkeye and NFL tight end, and Tyler Lagasse, five-time Special Olympics Golf Champion for the State of Massachusetts, joined in the days’ events both as golf participants and event speakers.
    Over 100 golfers came out to support autism and nearly 200 people showed their support at the 19th Hole Celebration held directly after golf play at Des Moines Golf and Country Club.
