Clear Lake boys being led by a strong hurdle team

  The Clear Lake boys track team competed at the Lynx Relays in Webster City on Tuesday, April 17.  Webster City won the meet with 135 points.  Clear Lake was seventh in the seven team field with 37 points.

    A majority of Clear Lake’s points came from the team’s hurdlers.  The shuttle hurdle team of Tanner Tusha, Tamarick Lee, Jake Kockler and Connor Nosbisch placed third with a time of 1:04.77.  Nosbisch and Tusha picked up a second and fourth place respectably in the 110 meter hurdles.  Nosbisch ran the race in 15.25, while Tusha’s time was 16.82.  Tusha also picked up a point in the 400 meter hurdles with a sixth place finish in 1:01.00.
    Jake Harle captured a third place finish in the long jump with a leap of 18’07”.  Chandler Diercks was fourth in the event with a jump of 18’02.50”.
    Placing fourth for Clear Lake was the 4x100 meter relay team of Jake Harle, Chase Lester, Tre Strowder and Diercks.  They posted a time of 47.51.
    The distance medley relay team of Nosbisch, Strowder, Diercks and Alex Webb placed fifth with a time of 4:02.46.
    Individual sixth place finishes went to Jacob Baker in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:12.18 and  Strowder in the 100 M dash in a time of 12.17.
 
JV Results
    The Clear Lake JV boys track team captured three first place finishes at the Lynx Relays. The boys 4x200 M relay won the race in a time of 1:41.64.  The -Read More Via e-Edition
